DEKALB — The Rochelle Lady Hub varsity bowling team concluded its Interstate 8 Conference schedule with a road match against Kaneland on Thursday. Junior Cassidy Vincent fired a team-leading 561 series as the Lady Hubs took down the Knights 2,460-2,399. Rochelle (10-5, 6-4 Interstate 8) will host its Senior Night match against Belvidere on Friday.
The Lady Hubs won the opening game 888-752 behind a series-best 214 from Vincent and a series-best 208 from sophomore Kylie McCullough, who rolled a 461 series on Thursday. Senior Faith Adams rolled a series-best 168 and Vincent added a 163 in the second game, which the Lady Hubs claimed 860-813 to extend their series lead over the Knights.
While Kaneland took the third game 855-712, Rochelle won the final series by 61 pins. Vincent's 184 was the high score for the Lady Hubs in the final game, while Preslee Sutherland led the Knights with a series-best 223 to conclude the match with a 607 series.
