HOLDENVILLE, Okla. — Betty Monical, 76 passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017, in Holdenville, Okla. She was born on Nov. 15, 1940 in Nebraska City, Neb., to Ralph Milton Tait and Myrtle Mae (Norman) Tait.
She graduated from Rochelle Township High School and attended college before beginning her career for Aigners. She stopped working for a period of time to have her children whom she loved and adored deeply. She later returned to her work at Aigners and continued until her retirement after 22 plus years of service.
It was important to Betty for her children to be her legacy and know they were loved and cared for throughout their lives. Her devotion to the Lord and his service were also important to Betty. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Preceding Betty in death are her mother Myrtle Mae Loggins (2004), husband Robert Mahlon Monical (2003), and son Steven Mark Monical (1965).
Survivors include her children, Robert Monical of Mansfield, Texas, Rebecca Monical of Henderson, Nev., Elizabeth Houzenga and husband Dennis of Prophetstown, Mary Monical-Roberts and husband Ray of Holdenville, and Deborah Lawrence of Florence, Mont.; grandchildren, Alex Danekas, Angel Howard, Morgan Monical-Taylor, Tessa Monical, and Corin Monical; great-grandchild, Markus Alexander Howard; and siblings, Ruthie Clark and John Loggins and wife Merliee both of Rochelle, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
