ROCHELLE — It’s that time of year again… the 2018 Rotary Club Daily Cash Calendars are on sale now.
The Rochelle Rotary Club fundraiser has helped the organization increase the amount of funding it provides to the From the Heart agencies.
Daily Cash Calendars are on sale for $20 each, and every calendar is individually numbered and entered into a drawing for cash every single day of the following year. Cash prizes range from $25 on most weekdays, $50 every Sunday and anywhere from $250 up to $1,000 on special holidays. All calendar numbers are included in every daily drawing, so buyers are eligible to win on every day of the year.

Calendars also include coupons for savings at a variety of local merchants.
The proceeds from the Daily Cash Calendars are used by the Rochelle Rotary Club to help fund the requests for donations from a large number of worthwhile community projects and programs each year. In turn, the Daily Cash Calendar money has enabled the Rotary Club to give all of the proceeds of the From the Heart event held in February to its eight designated recipient groups.
In February 2017, the From the Heart gala, combined with the 2017 Rochelle Rotary Cash Calendar sales, donated $6,000 each to the Rochelle Christian Food Pantry, HOPE, Rochelle Childcare Center, Focus House, Rochelle Area Community Foundation, Shining Star, Hub City Senior Center and C.A.S.A.
Calendars can be purchased from any Rochelle Rotary Club member and from several location points throughout town, including the Rochelle News-Leader. Rotary Club members will also be on hand at local merchants on weekends to sell the calendars.
