4-H bowling champions named

OGLE COUNTY ­— The championship round of the 2018 Ogle County 4-H Bowling Tournament was held on Feb. 25 at Uptown Lanes in Byron.  
Eight qualifying teams bowled to determine the first place winners in both the junior division (ages 6-13) and senior division (ages 14 and up).
The qualifying rounds were set up by the clubs earlier in the year at bowling centers throughout the county. Town & Country Lanes in Mount Morris and T-Byrd Lanes in Rochelle supported the groups. Nearly, 200 youth bowled in this year’s event.
Championship Junior Teams
1st Place – Ogle Jolly 4-H Club, Stillman Valley (491 pins) - Cassidy Vincent, Grace Costello, and Braden Rogers
2nd Place – Carefree 4-H Club, Oregon (468 pins) - AJ Cisketti, Evan Kosick, and Jayden Jenkins

3rd Place – Ogle County Clovers 4-H Club, Rochelle (465 pins) - Magaly Marin, Kelsie Bell, and Torie Carten
Championship Senior Teams
1st Place – Blackhawk Crossing 4-H Club, Mt Morris (714 pins) - Jaden Scott, Megan Buttons, and Samantha Bowers
2nd Place – Pine Creek Valley 4-H Club, Polo (646 pins) - Amber Henson, Kayla Blum, and Natalie Williams
3rd Place – Pine Creek Valley 4-H Club, Polo (589 pins) - Cassie Bushman, Kyle Blum, and Conner Brown
Scores at the qualifying bowl determined individual high games and high series winners.
