AFC FFA competes at FFA District 1 Proficiencies

GENESEO — Ashton-Franklin Center FFA students competed at the FFA District 1 Proficiencies March 8 in Geneseo. Each FFA member interviewed in front of a panel about their Supervised Agricultural Experience record book projects. In order to participate, members must win their area at the section level to advance.
AFC’s Kate Viall will be advancing to State Proficiencies as the District I Discovery Star in Placement for her books on hog cooperative, baseball concessions and doing chicken chores for neighbors.
Also competing were Andrea Buhrow - Star Agribusiness & Ag Processing, Lane Koning - Ag Mechanics Design & Fabrication, Zane Murphy - Ag Mechanics Repair & Maintenance, Logan O'Brien - Swine Production Placement and Jack Delhotal - Turf Grass Management.
