Ag safety and rescue event planned at fairgrounds

OREGON – You and your family do not want to miss the knowledge and fun happening at the Ogle County Fairgrounds, 1440 N Limeklin Rd., on Saturday, June 30 for an Ag Safety & Rescue Day.
This family friendly event will be held from 9 a.m.-noon. Families can attend this free event to check out local Firetrucks, Ambulances, watch Grain Bin rescue simulations, look at ag safety displays and much more. The Lifeline Helicopter will be on site at 11 a.m. for families to get an up-close look at the Lifeline Helicopter.
Volunteers from Rochelle Fire Department, Stillman Fire Department, Lynn-Scott-Rock Fire Protection District, and Stateline Farm Rescue will be on hand to answer questions about their equipment. Make sure to enter your name into the door prize drawing for an ATV helmet donated by Tractor Supply in Dixon.
The Ogle County 4-H Program is sponsoring this event. 4-H is an informal youth education program conducted by University of Illinois Extension.
