The American Legion Post 403 had its first meeting of 2019 on Wednesday, Feb. 13 at the Iron Skillet Restaurant at the Petro Truck Stop in Rochelle. Youth Program Officer and junior Vice Commander John Gruben gave a presentation on his service in the military and how his service helped him in his career as a college professor and engineer. Ellen Katol introduced herself as the new Ogle County Veterans Assistance Commission Officer and described some of the services of the Commission.
