ROCHELLE — Nolan Andersen’s three-run, walk-off home run clinched the Hubs freshman baseball team’s sweep of the Geneseo Maple Leafs on Thursday, with Rochelle winning by a score of 14-11 to improve to 6-5 overall.
Six Hubs recorded at least one RBI in the victory. Ethan Etes went 3-for-5 with two RBIs in the No. 2 spot, while Austin Greifenkamp finished a perfect 2-for-2 at the plate with two RBIs. Nick Albers, Seth Gould and Devlen Buh each totaled one RBI, with Buh earning the win on the pitcher’s mound as well.
Nine Rochelle players scored at least one run, and five Hubs crossed home plate twice including Kaleb Hess. Keegan Davis added one run.
