ROCHELLE — It was a record day by all accounts at the Rochelle Chamber’s Play Day.
The 48th Annual golfing event, sponsored by Tyson Foods, featured sponsor activities at nearly all of the holes throughout the course.
“The 48th Annual Tyson Foods Chamber Play Day was the most successful Play Day in the history of the Chamber Play Day,” said Peggy Friday, Executive Director, Rochelle Chamber of Commerce. “Thank you to the Chamber Board, volunteers, sponsors, players, raffle prize donations, The Fairways Public Golf Course, and SALT 251 for the overwhelming support.”
The event included 12 premier sponsors, 5 beverage cart sponsors, and lunch.
Activities at the holes had the players participating in games and trivia and the 16th hole had them trying their hula-hoops skills.
