ROCHELLE — The Rochelle Community Hospital Foundation held its 20th Annual Golf Outing at Fairway Golf Course on Monday, Sept. 14.
A total of 68 golfers were in attendance for golf, food from SALT251 and fun activities provided by RCH staff while they competed in the scramble.
The outing netted $25,000. Proceeds will be used to purchase new cardiac monitoring equipment for the hospital.
There were two teams tied for first place — Hub-Remsen Print Group and SBM Business Solutions. Players with the longest drives were David Gerrity and Ailani Thiravong. Closest to the pin for men and women were Tad Everett and Kristine Chadwick.
Over 20 years, this event has raised more than $500,000 for care and services at RCH that benefit the community.
