ROCHELLE — What could very well be the greatest show in Rochelle is returning Tuesday at the Flagg-Rochelle Public Library.
The 57th Annual Pet Show, Tuesday, June 27, is scheduled for 1:30 p.m., and all area children participating in the summer library programs are invited to bring their pets.
Library assistant director Connie Avery said the event is one the staff and patrons look forward to, acknowledging she has seen a variety of pets over the years and not just cats and dogs.
‘It is my favorite day all summer long,” Avery said. “We’ve had Ziploc bags with fish, we’ve had birds, turtles, and we’ve had plastic balls with hamsters in them.”
