ROMEOVILLE — Charges were filed Wednesday against a man and two women from Plainfield in connection with the beating death of a Rochelle woman early this week.
On Monday morning, Romeoville police found the body of Jennifer Underhill, 42, of Rochelle, in a grassy area near a warehouse parking lot. According to autopsy reports, she died from multiple blunt-force trauma injuries involving an altercation.
Police found the body when they were called at approximately 1:30 a.m. Monday to investigate damage done to a semi-truck parked in the warehouse lot.
George Hooper, 34, of Plainfield, was arrested and charged Wednesday by Romeoville Police on two counts of first-degree murder. He is also being charged with two counts of unlawful use of a weapon by a felon and being an armed habitual criminal.

Also arrested were Rose Parker, 57, of Plainfield, on two counts of obstructing justice and Amanda Weck, 33, of Plainfield. Weck is being charged with reckless discharge of a firearm.
According to authorities, Underhill was dating Hooper prior to the incident. Weck was dating Hooper’s brother.
Will County records indicate Hooper is considered a “disabled adult” and Parker was made his guardian in 2011. Police believe that the domestic incident and murder were related in the case.
Thursday morning, Hooper remains in jail in lieu of a $5 million bond. Parker also remains in custody on a $250,000 bond. Weck is in jail on a $100,000 bond.
Hooper and Parker were arrested in Madison County. They will both be transported back to Will County on the charges.
All three suspects reside at the same address in Plainfield.
Visitation and funeral services are being handled by Unger-Horner Funeral Home.
The visitation will be held from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Friday at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. Sixth St., Rochelle. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Trinity Memory Gardens in Rochelle.
