WALHALLA, N.D. — Arvine C. Jorgensen, 102, was received into the Church Triumphant on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, at the Pembilier Nursing Center in Walhalla, N.D.
Arvine was born to John and Marie Jorgensen in rural Rochelle on Feb. 7, 1915. He farmed south of Rochelle, retiring on Leif Lake, south of Audubon, Minn.
He is survived by one son, Pastor John Jorgensen (Barbara); two daughters, Sharon Siberg (Pastor David) and Jean Vetter (Charles); six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; six nieces; and eight nephews.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Leila; his parents; one sister, Ruth Schoonhoven (Howard); daughter-in-law, Mary Jorgensen; and one nephew.
Blessed be his memory.
A family memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, Feb. 18. Burial will be held at the Big Pembina Lutheran Cemetery at a later date.
