OGLE COUNTY — Autumn with a Master Gardener is an evening gardening workshop, on Thursday, Sept. 21 from 5 to 8 p.m. at University of Illinois Extension Office, located at 421 W. Pines Rd., Oregon. Join the Ogle County Master Gardeners for this evening event offering participants information about various aspects of home gardening.
When To: Divide, Master Gardeners will demonstrate how to divide a hosta and a daylily. Plant, We will discuss spring, summer & fall bulbs. In addition, we will talk about fall and winter vegetables. Prune, We will let you know when to prune your tress & shrubs, grasses and perennials.

How To: Put your perennial garden to bed, clean up your vegetable garden, Put your tools away, Preserve herbs
Let’s Do: We’ll learn about Salsa, (Tomato, Vegetable, Fruit) & Herbal Vinegar: You’ll have an opportunity to make one, please bring your own pint sized glass container with lid.
Registrations will be accepted until Sept. 18. To cover costs there is a charge of $10 per person or $15 per couple. Please register soon, our maximum is 30.
