OREGON – The Oregon Park District will offer a workshop on Saturday, April 1 to create a barn quilt.
Have you noticed these painted patterns on local barns, homes, garages and more. They come in many different patterns, colors and sizes. An experienced instructor, Karen Hilliard will lead a one day workshop to walk you through the steps of creating your own unique barn quilt pattern for your home or for a gift.

The wooden square provided will be approximately a 2’ x 2’ palette. Pattern examples will be available for you to choose from.
The workshop will run all day kicking off at 9:30 a.m. and concluding around 3:30 p.m. No painting experience is required and many paint choices will be available.
The fee for this workshop is $42 for Residents and $50 for Non-Residents. All materials will be included. Participants are welcome to bring a lunch with them. Individuals as young as 11 years old may participate. Deadline to register for this workshop will be Wednesday, March 29.
