ROCHELLE — Rochelle mayoral candidate John Bearrows announced he is holding a public meet and greet event on Thursday, March 14 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Flight Deck restaurant on the south side of town.
Bearrows, who is currently a Rochelle city council member, said he is looking forward to taking questions about issues facing Rochelle and listen to voters' concerns heading into the April 2 election.
"I urge residents to come out and talk about what's on their minds," Bearrows said. "I think it's time for a change in the mayor's position and I want to share with Rochelle voters what I plan to accomplish if elected."
Refreshments will also be served.
