Alison Grace Berry of Rochelle and Elijah Sebastian Valdivieso of Camp Pendleton, Calif., were wed at 2 p.m. on Nov. 11 by Dan Sergeant at the Lincoln Way Inn B&B in Franklin Grove.

Berry, Valdivieso wed in November

ROCHELLE — Alison Grace Berry of Rochelle and Elijah Sebastian Valdivieso of Camp Pendleton, Calif., were wed at 2 p.m. on Nov. 11 by Dan Sergeant at the Lincoln Way Inn B&B in Franklin Grove.
Parents of the couple are Joel and Rachel Berry of Rochelle and Xavier and Jeana Valdivieso of Rochelle.
The bride wore a satin mermaid gown with an illusion lace neckline. She carried a bouquet of flowers made by The Cypress House in Rochelle.
Emily Alvarez of Rochelle, friend of the bride, was Maid of Honor, and Julia Berry of Rochelle, sister of the bride, was a bridesmaid.

Nick Hayes of Camp Pendleton, Calif., friend of the groom, was Best Man. Chad Mikolas of Camp Pendleton, Calif., friend of the groom, and Quentin Coppess of Camp Pendleton, Calif., friend of the groom, were groomsmen.
The couple, with their families, held an intimate ceremony and reception consisting of immediate family and a few close friends. The reception was held at the Lincoln Way Inn B&B in Franklin Grove.
The wedding colors were navy and gold and the theme was ‘Nothing fancy, just love.’
Berry is a sophomore at Kishwaukee College, attending school fulltime in the radiology program. She works at Omega Pest Control, Inc. in Rochelle.
Valdivieso is a Rifleman in the infantry of the United States Marine Corps. He is currently stationed in Camp Pendleton, Calif.
The couple were high school sweethearts at Rochelle Township High School. Valdivieso graduated in 2016 and Berry in 2016.
