Janesville, Wis. — Blain’s Farm & Fleet is pleased to announce that former news anchor Nicole Kilmer has joined the family to manage Public Relations and events.
“It feels like I’ve come home. I grew up on a farm in rural Rockford, Illinois and my very first job was at a Blain’s Farm and Fleet store before studying Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Iowa,” says Kilmer.
Kilmer has 15+ years’ experience in Broadcast Journalism and most recently served as the Director of Communications and Marketing for the Belvidere School District.
She is especially looking forward to working with TV producers across the Midwest to deliver lively, educational segments promoting unique, fun activities families can enjoy together. Kilmer will also work with all of the local organizations that Blain’s Farm & Fleet continues to support; The Bert and Claude Blain Memorial Scholarships, American Heart Association, Kids Helping Kids program, FFA programs, and 4-H Sponsorships.
“We are thrilled to welcome Nicole,” says Kristin Stewart, Chief Marketing Officer, Blain’s Farm & Fleet. “Giving back to the communities we serve is a core mission at Blain’s Farm & Fleet, and the PR & Events Manager is key to this effort. Nicole is a perfect fit as she understands our family culture and shares our passion for the Midwest communities we serve. Nicole is taking on a critical role as Blain’s Farm & Fleet continues to grow and expand. We are fortunate to have her join our Blain’s family.”
