PERU — Rochelle senior bowler Dallas Driver brought his best game to the Northern Illinois Big 12 Conference Championship at the Illinois Valley Super Bowl on Wednesday.

Driver rolled 672 over his first three games including a high score of 249 in the first game to assert himself near the top of the NIB-12 leaderboard. The senior started his second series slow with a 171 before bouncing back with 232 and 213 to finish with a 616 series and a team-best six-game pin total of 1,288.

The strong finish helped Driver take fifth place in the tournament, and Rochelle took eighth as a team with a final pin count of 5,972. Senior Tyler Johnson rolled over 1,114 pins with a top game of 215, while senior Brady Shank recorded 1,197 with high scores of 213 and 207.

Senior Nick Stevens finished with 1,022 pins, with freshmen Devansh Patel and Sergio Guevara scoring 678 and 673, respectively.
