The Rochelle Hub varsity bowling team finished eighth out of 10 schools in the Dixon Toughman Tournament at Plum Hollow Lanes on Wednesday. Rochelle sat in seventh place with 3,279 pins after the four-game team round before dropping to eighth place after the nine-game baker round, where the Hubs totaled 1,415 pins to finish with a grand total of 4,694.

DIXON — The Rochelle Hub varsity bowling team finished eighth out of 10 schools in the Dixon Toughman Tournament at Plum Hollow Lanes on Wednesday. Rochelle sat in seventh place with 3,279 pins after the four-game team round before dropping to eighth place after the nine-game baker round, where the Hubs totaled 1,415 pins to finish with a grand total of 4,694.

Junior Evin Odle led Rochelle with a 723 series during the team round, while senior Devansh Patel fired a 707 series and senior Sergio Guevara recorded a 635 series. The Hubs scored 720 in the first game before rolling 861 in the second game behind 186 from both Odle and Patel. Odle then fired 184 and 201 to lead the Hubs to 796 and 902 in the third and fourth games. Rochelle went 2-7 during the baker round, winning its final two matchups to close out the day.
