YORKVILLE — With the Northern Illinois Big 12 Conference Meet on the horizon, the Hubs bowling team reacquainted itself with a familiar foe on Tuesday, traveling to Yorkville for a conference match against the Foxes.
Rochelle conceded all 10 points to Yorkville, falling by a series score of 3,525-3,028. Sophomore Brady Shank rolled his third consecutive 600 series, shooting a team-high 267 in his first game before cooling off with a 200 and a 171 in his second and third games to finish with a 638.
Sophomore Tyler Johnson bowled a 507 series and a high game of 181, and the Hubs received a big boost from junior Mark Bratko and senior Austin Cook. Bratko totaled a 180 and a 181 over his first two games en route to a 519 series, while Cook shot a 202 in his final game to finish with a 501 series in the match.
