ROCHELLE — Brenda Powell Hausmann, 75, Rochelle, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Serenity Hospice Home in Oregon.
Brenda was born February 11, 1946 in Parkin, Ark., the daughter of Ottis and Catherine (Westmoreland) Bobo. She married Loyd Powell in 1962 in Rochelle. She later married Clifford Hausmann in 1989 in Oshkosh, Wis.
Brenda worked for many years at Caron International before enjoying early retirement. She was tender, sentimental and selfless. She was fiercely protective of family, especially her daughter and grandson. Brenda enjoyed gardening, classic film and television as well as all things Elvis.
Brenda is survived by her first husband, Loyd Powell; daughter, Christina (Joe Anderson) Powell; grandson, Jack Anderson; sister-in-law, Barbara Bobo; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by her second husband, Clifford Hausmann; her son, Michael Powell; and two brothers, Donald Bobo and James Bobo.
The family would like to thank friends Juanita Manley and Carol McCarter, for their support.
A graveside service and interment will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Trinity Memory Gardens in Rochelle with Pastor Lowell Woolbright officiating.
