ROCHELLE – Northern Rehab Physical Therapy Specialists announced the annual 2020 Rochelle Township High School Sports and Health Scholarship recipient is Kaylee Brown.

Brown, a recent graduated senior at Rochelle Township High School, was chosen for her outstanding achievements in athletics, academics, and choice to pursue a career in the healthcare field.

She is a National Honors Society and Student Council member, and volunteered in the Natural Helpers program. She is a Rochelle High School Cheerleader, attending All-Conference Academics for Cheer, and featured in a Student Spotlight news article.

Brown attended the Rotary Youth Leadership camp and volunteered at several non-profit organization events throughout her time at RTHS, including Make a Difference Day, Needy Children’s Shopping Spree, St. Paul’s Fun Fair, participating in building the local Kids Ground structure and helping in the RTHS concessions stand.

This fall, she plans to attend Bradley University focusing on a career in dermatology.

This is the fourth year Northern Rehab has sponsored a scholarship for Rochelle High School seniors and will continue to support this annually. Northern Rehab is pleased to acknowledge the sportsmanship, athletic and academic excellence, and competitive spirit displayed by this year’s recipient, and supports the community in sports and academic accomplishments, and those promoting active and healthy lifestyles.
