Rochelle Lions President Kevin Zilm announces Saturday, Oct. 17 is Lions Candy Day. Lions will be at Walmart, Ace Hardware, Walgreens and downtown from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. soliciting donations in return for a roll of mints or a Tootsie pop. Candy Day is the premier fundraiser for The Lions of Illinois Foundation.
Devices and programs provided to the hearing and visually impaired in Illinois including eye operations, leader dog training, eye exams, hearing aids, and eyeglass fittings for those in need.
