ROCHELLE — Central Bank Illinois announced an officer promotion for Brandon Svela to vice president commercial lending serving its Rochelle Market.
“This promotion is well deserved.” Jeff Glen, community bank president of Central Bank Rochelle, said. “Brandon is a very bright rising star in Central Bank. Brandon does a great job meeting the needs of his customers and works very hard to help them achieve their goals.”
While attending Illinois State University, Brandon was a summer intern in the internal audit department for the First National Bank of Rochelle. Brandon earned his bachelor’s degree in finance, with a minor in accounting from ISU in 2014 and returned to FNB as a management trainee. In 2017 he continued his career path with Central Bank and was named an assistant vice president loan officer. Brandon is actively involved in the Rochelle community and currently serves on the Rochelle Chamber of Commerce board of directors. He is also a graduate of the Illinois Bankers Future Leaders Alliance program.
