Chana School Foundation looking for rummage sale items

Posted

CHANA – Spring is right around the corner, and it’s time to clean closets and drawers getting rid of items you haven’t been able to wear or just haven’t worn for the past five to 10 years.
The Chana School Foundation’s annual rummage sale is just the right place to send your unwanted items. You rid your home of clutter and unwanted items and get a tax deduction for your donation to this year’s fund raiser. The Chana School Foundation is a 501C3 organization that is not-for-profit.  Your donation can benefit not only the Chana School Museum, but also help you when filing your taxes by the tax deduction slip that you will receive when your items are brought to this year’s sale.

The Chana School Foundation has scheduled its rummage sale for the first weekend in June, so there is plenty of time for spring cleaning. The Chana School Foundation will hold this year’s sale at the Oregon Coliseum. Mark your calendar that you may drop your items for the sale all day on Thursday, June 1. If you need special pick up or have any questions please call 815-732-6807 or 815-973-6711.
Donations
The Chana School Museum is maintained entirely by donations and volunteers. Little things matter in a big way to the Chana School Foundation. If you would like to volunteer call 732-2447. We welcome anyone with a smile who wants to work with friendly people.
The Chana School Foundation is campaigning for funds to replace the roof of the old schoolhouse this spring. If you would like to help, send your gift to the Chana School Foundation at 201 River Road, Oregon, IL 61061.
