ROCHELLE — The Rochelle Lady Hub varsity cheer team competed in the Woodstock Invitational this past weekend, bringing home a first-place finish in the meet.
The varsity team also performed in the Interstate 8 Conference Championship meet earlier this week, taking third place overall. The varsity team competed as a medium-sized squad in the virtual IHSA Washington Sectional on Saturday, finishing 10th out of 15 schools.
The varsity team includes Korena Pointer, Liberty Hayes, Rylee Jackson, Gracie Kelchner, Zoe Hardcastle, Baylie Sutton, Hailey Thompson, Megan Thompson, Morgan Smardo, Giselle Hueramo and Mary Coglianese. The girls are coached by Trish Rodeghero.
