ROCHELLE — Rochelle’s Chicagoland Skydiving Center, along with many other dropzones across America, participated in 'Flags in the Air - a Skydivers Tribute to 9/11’ on Saturday.
Rochelle Police and Fire representatives were on hand for the tribute to the 20th anniversary of the terror attacks on the World Trade Center in New York in 2001.
Skydivers filled the air with an American flag and dove in formation. The national anthem was sung as skydivers landed at the Rochelle Municipal Airport.
