SANDWICH — The 40th annual Christmas in the Country holiday arts, crafts and bake sale will be held on Saturday, Nov. 9-10 at several Sandwich schools.
The event will be held at Sandwich High School, Lynn Haskin Grade School and Sandwich Middle School and run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9 and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 10.
There will be a shuttle bus service running between all three schools.
"We invite everyone to stop by and see all the beautiful crafts, such as painted windows, needle felting, pop can jewelry, hair bows, spoon jewelry, handmade baskets and much more," said craft show committee member Deborah Harkins. "There will be 150 crafters representing 60 Illinois towns ans states in Indiana, Iowa and Wisconsin."
Admission to the show is $3 for a stamp that will allow guests into each venue. No strollers or smoking is allowed in any building.
Lunch will be offered in the high school and middle school buildings and a door prize drawing will be held in the middle school.
