TULSA, O.K. — Chrylene Justice Reynolds passed away Friday, Jan. 20 at Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was 64 years old. She was born May 18, 1958 in Piqua, Ohio. She was the seventh child of William H. Justice, Sr. and Stella Rowlett Justice. She lived in Ohio the first four years of her life until the family moved to Rochelle. Rochelle was her home for about 16 years until she moved to Las Vegas. Before moving to Las Vegas she had her only child and daughter Andrea, in 1975. She met and married Jerry Reynolds in Las Vegas, a union that lasted 27 years. They moved around some, Texas, Oklahoma and Las Vegas and eventually settled in Oklahoma.

Loved ones left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Andrea Justice; granddaughters Taje (Oklahoma) and Eva (Indiana); great granddaughters Clover and Rosie both of Oklahoma; stepsons, William (Stephanie) Goins (Amarillo, Texas), David Reynolds (Big Island, Hawaii) and Sterling Hayden (Las Vegas, Nevada); stepdaughter Mary (Tim) Hardin (Boise, Idaho); brother-in-law Mike Reynolds (Redbird, Oklahoma); sisters-in-law Bobby Jo Dansbury (Redbird, Oklahoma), Glodene Reynolds (Amarillo, Texas), Sharon Carter (Dallas, Texas), Wanda (Ron) Astwood (Corpus Christi, Texas); brother, Tim (Joyce) Justice (Franklin Grove); sisters Elaine (Bill) DeVault (Marble Hill, Missouri), Brenda (Donnie) Ming (Vienna, Illinois), Sherry (Floyd) Smith (Rochelle), Tami (Dwight) Jett (Hazard, Kentucky) and Teresa Watson (Clarks Hill, Indiana); and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Aunts Gladys Rowlett and Ruby Graham of Ewing, Virgina and many friends. Predeceased by husband, Jerry Reynolds. Jerry was hospitalized on Dec. 21, 2022 and Chrylene was hospitalized on Dec. 22, 2022, both with COVID-19-related illnesses. Jerry passed away on Jan. 6 and Chrylene passed away on Jan. 20, the day of Jerry's funeral. Chrylene was also predeceased by her parents; infant grandson, Mony; brother, Bill Justice; sister, Pam Ritchie and a baby sister, Cecelia.

Graveside services were held on Jan. 24 at Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. Per National Cemetery procedure, Chrylene was laid to rest with her husband in the same grave. That’s what she would have wanted. Goodbye for now my dear sister. You are no longer suffering with pain, sickness or unhappiness. Rest in peace until Jesus comes.
