Rochelle – The RMU water department will host an electronics recycling drop-off day for RMU customers on Saturday, Aug. 25 from 8 a.m. – noon at the water treatment plant. Those dropping off items will be required to show a photo ID.
Acceptable items for drop-off include televisions, monitors, printers, computers, fax machines, keyboards, electronic mice, VCRs, portable digital music players, video game consoles, small scale servers, scanners, digital converter boxes, cable and satellite receivers and DVD players.
To reach the RMU water treatment plant from IL Route 251, turn onto Lakeview Drive and turn onto South Ninth St. and follow into the plant entrance.
