Oregon – The Voter Registration purge has begun in Ogle County. Ogle County Clerk and Recorder, Laura J. Cook, states per the Illinois State Board of Elections, Election Officials are required to purge certain voters from the county’s voter registration rolls every two years.
The purge keeps voter registration accurate because they allow the removal of voters who are ineligible because they have moved, died or for other reasons.
The county clerk’s office mailed new voter registration cards to every registered voter in Ogle County the week of June 12. Once you receive your new voter registration card, please review the printed information for accuracy.
If you are registered and do not receive a card or if you notice a discrepancy, please call the office at 815-732-1110.
