Club adopts windows at rehab center

Posted

ROCHELLE — The Hub Hickory Nuts 4-H Club of Rochelle is doing a community service project for the nursing home residents of the Rochelle Rehab and Health Care Center. Club members adopted windows and set up bird feeders outside their assigned window.
All 26 resident windows have been adopted. Club members will keep filling the feeders with seed throughout the summer. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the club wanted to reach out to these residents and this project allows club members to work individually, but also make a bigger impact by working together as a group to show support for the local nursing home.
