County deputies arrest man for driving on suspended license

On Feb. 24 at approximately 5:31 p.m., deputies initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Milledgeville Road and Goose Road. After further investigation, David Verbout, 37, of Milledgeville, was placed under arrest for driving while license suspended. Verbout was released on an Individual Bond.
On Feb. 24 at 9:10 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Fourth Street at Franklin Street in Oregon for an equipment violation. After an investigation, Jacobi Obryant, 25, of Sterling, was arrested for no valid driver’s license and an out of state warrant. Obryant was released on a signature I-bond for no valid driver’s license, and transported to the Ogle County Jail for the out of state warrant.
Feb. 25

On Feb. 25 at approximately 7:52 p.m., deputies initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Illinois Route 251 and Illinois Route 64. After further investigation, Carlos De Los Reyes, 21, of Rochelle, was placed under arrest for felony possession of cannabis 100 to 500 grams, no valid driver’s license and obstructing identification. De Los Reyes was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
Feb. 26
On Feb. 26 at approximately 4:15 p.m., Ogle County deputies responded to the Ogle County Probation Department. After an investigation it was learned that Alyssa M. Trotter, 28, of Polo, had defrauded a drug screening test. Trotter was placed under arrest for defrauding a drug and alcohol screening test and transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.
On Feb. 26 at 12:02 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 6000 block of South Illinois Route 251 in rural Rochelle on a blue Ford Taurus for an equipment violation. After a short investigation, deputies arrested Amaya Watters, 20, of Rockford, for no valid driver’s license. Watters was released on a notice to appear with a court date of March 24.
March 1
On March 1 at approximately 2:38 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 7,000 block of North Illinois Route 2. After an investigation, Carlos Andres, 21, of Rockford, was arrested for driving while license suspended. Andres was released on an I-Bond and given a future court date.
