County police makes DUI, battery arrests

On March 21, Dustin Marx, 25, of Davis Junction, was arrested for Petition to Revoke. Marx had a bond of $3,000/10 percent. Marx did not post bond and will return to court on April 4 at 10:30 a.m. Marx remains in the Ogle County Jail.
On March 22 at approximately 12:41a.m., deputies initiated a traffic stop in the 1000 block of East Honey Creek Rd. After further investigation Carol Richards, 48, of Chana, was placed under arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol. Richards was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond. Richard was also issued citations for improper lane usage, disobeying a traffic control device, and failure to signal.
On March 22, Ogle County deputies investigated a report of a domestic battery that had occurred at 2750 N. Indian Heights Dr. in Oregon. After an investigation, Brody Stone, 18, of Oregon, was arrested for domestic battery. Stone was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he will be held until he can be brought before a judge.

On March 22 the following were arrested for Ogle County outstanding warrants:
Mathew P. Thies, 34, of Monroe, Wis., for violation order of protection. Thies has a bond of $3,000. Thies will appear in court on April 9. Thies remains in the Ogle County Jail.
Shelly L. Nelson, 44, of Leaf River, for driving under the influence. Nelson had a bond of $5,000/10 percent. Nelson did post the $5,000/10 percent bond. Nelson was released from the Ogle County Jail and will have to return to court on April 20.
On March 22 at approximately 9:30 p.m., deputies initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Mulford Rd. and IL Route 64. After further investigation Everett Bradley, 51, of Oregon, was placed under arrest for driving while license revoked. Bradley was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
