Dionne Bakalik, 43, of Mount Morris, was arrested Feb. 11 on an Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. Bakalik had a bond of $259.84. Bakalik did post the bond of $259.84 and was released from the Ogle County Jail. Bakalik does not have to return to court.
On Feb. 12 at approximately 4:20 p.m., deputies along with the Rochelle Police Department, Illinois State Police, Rochelle Fire/EMS, and Creston Fire/EMS responded to the area of Illinois Route 38 and Mulford Road for a two vehicle head on collision. After further investigation it was discovered that a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Ariadna Calderon, 18, of Rochelle, had lost control while traveling eastbound and entered into oncoming traffic, colliding with a Nissan Rogue. The Nissan was occupied by Ignacio Constellanos, 34, Rosa Contreras-Garcia, 37, and Tania Contreras-Garcia, 30, all from Rochelle. All four subjects were transported to Rochelle Community Hospital by Rochelle EMS to be evaluated for injuries. Calderon received citations for failure to reduce speed and improper lane usage.
On Feb. 12 the following people were arrested for outstanding Ogle County warrants:
Sandra Frazier, 25, of Rock Falls, for failure to appear. Frazier has a bond of $419 full cash and will appear in court on Feb. 13.
