Crash sends four to hospital

Dionne Bakalik, 43, of Mount Morris, was arrested Feb. 11 on an Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. Bakalik had a bond of $259.84. Bakalik did post the bond of $259.84 and was released from the Ogle County Jail. Bakalik does not have to return to court.
On Feb. 12 at approximately 4:20 p.m., deputies along with the Rochelle Police Department, Illinois State Police, Rochelle Fire/EMS, and Creston Fire/EMS responded to the area of Illinois Route 38 and Mulford Road for a two vehicle head on collision. After further investigation it was discovered that a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Ariadna Calderon, 18, of Rochelle, had lost control while traveling eastbound and entered into oncoming traffic, colliding with a Nissan Rogue. The Nissan was occupied by Ignacio Constellanos, 34, Rosa Contreras-Garcia, 37, and Tania Contreras-Garcia, 30, all from Rochelle. All four subjects were transported to Rochelle Community Hospital by Rochelle EMS to be evaluated for injuries. Calderon received citations for failure to reduce speed and improper lane usage.
On Feb. 12 the following people were arrested for outstanding Ogle County warrants:
Sandra Frazier, 25, of Rock Falls, for failure to appear. Frazier has a bond of $419 full cash and will appear in court on Feb. 13.

Kimberly Young, 53, of Rockford, for delivery of a controlled substance with a bond of $25,000/10 percent, domestic battery with a bond of $10,000/10 percent, and failure to appear with a bond of $3,800 full cash. Young will appear in court on Feb. 13.
Brian Boyland, 39, of Chicago, for motion to increase or alter conditions of bail. Boyland has a bond of $5,000/10 percent and will appear in court on Feb. 13.
Tobi Flippo, 40, of Byron, for failure to appear. Flippo has a bond of $746.26 full cash and will appear in court on Feb. 13.
On Feb. 13, Melvin Amaya-Reyes, 29 of Rochelle, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. Amaya-Reyes posted the $556 full cash bond and was released with no further court dates.
Feb. 14
On Feb. 14, Epifanio Hernandez, 46, of DeKalb, was arrested for an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. Hernandez went to court and was released on a $1,000 Recognizance bond and a return court date of March 25.
