Crull elected as Foundation for Focus House vice president

OGLE COUNTY – The Foundation for Focus House Board of Directors announced the election of Russell Crull as vice president.
Crull is a private attorney at the Rochelle Law Firm of Tess & Crull, LLC. He is a lifelong Ogle County resident and a Foundation for Focus House Board member since 2013.

He became involved with the foundation board due to his grandfather LaVerne Adams’ involvement with Focus House from 1975 until his death in 2002.  According to Crull, his grandfather was very proud of his work and assistance with Focus House and he plans to carry on his grandfather’s legacy.
“I continue to be involved due to a strong passion for the youth in our community and believe it is important that they have an opportunity to go down the right path, even when a traditional school setting may not be appropriate,” Crull said. “Ogle County is very fortunate to have a program such as Focus House, which has been decades ahead of its time, and our Board continues to see the importance of providing guidance and funding for Focus House programs.”
He replaces Jerry Daws, board member since 2004, as vice president.  A previous Ogle County Board member, Daws is an advocate of Focus House, and has been involved with the Focus House program since 1975. Daws will continue to serve on the Foundation Board of Directors.
