ROCHELLE – Debra A. Wyka, 62, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 9, 2021 surrounded by family at her home. Deb was born on October 31, 1958 to Joseph G. and Margaret (Marinko) Lujan in Chicago. On February 15, 1991, she married Daniel Wyka in Las Vegas, NV. Deb worked as a bookkeeper and with her husband owned and operated the T-Byrd Lanes in Rochelle.
Deb enjoyed miniature golf, steak dinners and pasta, pampering herself at the spa and of course, bowling. You may have heard more than once at T-Byrds one of her two favorite songs, Unchained Melody from the movie Ghost or Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond. There were many special people in her life, her friends in Chicago, the entire town of Rochelle and surrounding area (so many nice friends), her T-Byrd crew, Judi E., Mistie B. and Steven D. and her biggest joy was her granddaughter, Annabelle.
Deb is survived by her husband, Dan of Rochelle; son, Donald (Mary Morgan) Woodburn of Vail, AZ and granddaughter, Annabelle Rose Woodburn.
There will be a celebration of Deb’s life at a later date. Cremation care has been provided by the Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle. Visit www.ungerhorner.com to sign the online guest book.
