ROCHELLE — Rochelle Community Hospital has announced that with the reduction of positive COVID-19 cases, beginning Monday, July 13, the departments and/or services listed below will reopen.
Masking and social distancing are required for everyone who enters the hospital. You will be screened upon arrival. If you have any questions about services, please call 815-562-2181 and you will be transferred to the department for assistance.
Cashier/Patient Financial Services – you can now come inside to pay a bill.
Cafeteria – new public hours for lunch are from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. and dinner from 5-6 p.m. with limited seating. Groups should be no larger than four people and social distancing requirements apply.
Diabetes Education/Prediabetes Class – call 815-562-2181, ext. 3002 for more information.
Gift Shoppe – reduced hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Health Information Management – you can come in to pick up medical records, register online with myRCHhealth portal at www.rochellehospital.com to access records on-line or call 815-562-2181, 2740.
HealthWorks Fitness Center/Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehab – Patients have priority for cardiac and pulmonary rehab Monday through Friday mornings from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. Public hours for the Fitness Center will be Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and weekends 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Workouts are limited to one hour with 50 percent capacity. On-the-Go Healthcare Clinic at the Petro Travel Plaza – full operations have resumed for occupational health including breath alcohol testing.
Respiratory Therapy – call 815-562-2181, ext. 2733 for more information about pulmonary function testing.
Community Classes – All classes will have limited class size. CPR/AED/First Aid classes will resume as scheduled. The Safe Sitter class scheduled for July 23 will take place in the Training Room. Register for these classes on-line at rochellehospital.com.
Support Groups can start meeting again:
Alcoholics Anonymous, Sundays 7 to 8 p.m. in the Auxiliary Room; not to exceed 10 people.
Group Hope, Mondays 6:30 p.m. in the Health & Wellness Center Conference Room; not to exceed 6 people.
Narcotics Anonymous, Fridays at 6:30 p.m. in the Auxiliary Room; not to exceed 10 people.
Visitor restrictions apply for those accompanying or visiting patients in these departments:
Intensive Care Unit
One dedicated visitor per patient will be allowed. The visitor must be the same person every visit. After screening, the visitor must remain masked for the duration of their visit anywhere in the facility, including the patient’s room.
