On Nov. 13, James Ellis, 40, of Freeport, was arrested for Failure to Appear with a Full Cash Bond of $523.50. Ellis was released on a Recognizance Bond and will appear in court on Nov. 27.
On Nov. 13 at 6:20 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding in the 18000 block of East IL Route 64. The driver Virginia N. Sensor, 37, of St. Charles, was arrested for Driving While License Suspended. She was also cited for Speeding. Sensor was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she remained in lieu of bond.
On Nov. 14 at approximately 6:49 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies responded to 102 Main Street in Leaf River in reference to a stolen vehicle. With the assistance of the Winnebago Police Department, the vehicle was located in the 100 block of Clayton Ct. in Winnebago a few hours later. The offender, Donald Sutton, 46, of Leaf River, was taken into custody by the Winnebago Officer for two outstanding Ogle County warrants and relayed to the Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies. Sutton was additionally charged with Criminal Trespass to a Vehicle and Driving While License Suspended. Sutton was transported to the Ogle County jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
