Dear Editor,
On behalf of the Flagg Township Museum Board of Directors I would like to thank the donors, volunteers and attendees for making our first-ever “Champagne brunch” fundraising event at SALT251 on Sunday, March 31 a success.
The beautiful setting and the delicious brunch provided by SALT251 were enjoyed by all who attended. The entertainment – “From Hickory Nuts to Salt” – was especially impressive having been written by Dianne Jenner from the Vince Carney Community Theater group. The talented volunteer actors – Gary Mason, Noah Carmichael, Doug Kroupa, and Jan Devore - made a little of Rochelle’s history come alive for the audience. The variety of silent auction offerings inspired a nice response from bidders. Everything together made the event very special.
