ROCHELLE — Kennay Farms announced late last week a limited edition rye whiskey cask strength release honoring law enforcement.
Inspired by officers within the Kennay family, local law enforcement and two Chicago officers that visited the distillery, Kennay’s got to work creating a label that would showcase their strength in the face of adversity.
This special release, Backing the Blue, shows one more family and small business that supports officers and their fight for the community. The first 100 off the line, numbered and signed by the owner and head distiller, sold out in just eight hours.
To pick up a limited release bottle and show support for law enforcement, visit Kennay Farms Distillery, located at 416 Lincoln Highway, during open hours Thursday 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.
