ROCHELLE — Doris Ann Martin, 83, passed away on Monday, Nov. 16, 2020 at the OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford. She was born on Feb. 28, 1937 in Rochelle, the daughter of Ellsworth and Edna (Reints) Stocking.
Doris worked as a secretary at the local quarry. She loved celebrating each and every holiday and spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Dellouise Byars; and son, Roger Lee Martin, Jr.
She is survived by her son, Randy (Lisa) Martin; two daughters, Cindy (Randy) Calvert and Nancy (Tony) Abin; five grandchildren, Chris and Cameron Zies, Stephanie (Corey) Dir, and Derek and Gabriel Abin; four great-grandchildren, Cali and Olivia, and James and Ezra; and sister, Donna Walk.
A private family grave side service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20 at White Rock Cemetery in Kings. The service will be live streamed on the Unger Horner Facebook page to virtually attend.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society.
