FREEPORT — Rochelle junior Dallas Driver received Team MVP honors when the Hubs varsity bowling team competed at the Freeport Sport Shot Invitational this past Saturday at 4 Seasons Bowling Center.
The Hubs finished 14th out of 20 schools with 4,823 pins over six team games. Driver led Rochelle with 1,128 pins including high scores of 209 and 195 to place 22nd individually, while junior Brady Shank added 1,048 pins with high games of 227 and 199.
Junior Tyler Johnson rolled 986 with a high game of 204, and senior Tyler Nalley chipped in 952 with a high score of 204. Sophomore Logan Ortega and freshman Keith Holland combined for 709 pins to round out Rochelle’s varsity squad.
