ROCHELLE – On Feb. 1, 2019, the inactivated Boy Scout Troop 312 was reactivated as the all-girl BSA Troop 312 of Rochelle.
Two of the girls, Olivia Ebens of Byron and Emma Halla of Dixon recently achieved their Eagle rank, with both girls completing their Eagle Scout projects in their hometowns.
To achieve an Eagle Scout rank, 21 merit badges must be received. Both girls achieved an additional 15 merit badges which earned them the Silver Palm award.
Beth Bemis of Rochelle is their scout master and the troop meets at the Rochelle Moose on Thursdays. For girls interested in joining, contact Bemis at 815-979-1930.
