The Ogle County Solid Waste Management Department will be conducting its’ residential electronic recycling event on Friday, Sept. 29 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. sharp at the Ogle County Annex Building, located at 909 Pines Road in Oregon.

OREGON – The Ogle County Solid Waste Management Department will be conducting its’ residential electronic recycling event on Friday, Sept. 29 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. sharp at the Ogle County Annex Building, located at 909 Pines Road in Oregon.
This electronics recycling event is for Ogle County residents. Limit of ten items per household.
Accepted items

Items accepted include all televisions, computer hardware, monitors, printers, copiers, FAX machines, shredders, computer cable, cell phones, laptops, tablets, DVD/VCR’s, stereo equipment, radios, phone systems, video game equipment, UPS devices, rechargeable batteries, CFL bulbs, printer cartridges, and microwave ovens. There is a $5 charge for each microwave oven brought in for recycling. For a full list of accepted items, please visit the website listed below.
Unacceptable items
Items not accepted include vacuum cleaners, appliances, humidifiers/dehumidifiers, coffee makers, fryers/grills, power tools, yard tools, fans, light fixtures, alkaline batteries, smoke detectors, electronics which have been scavenged for parts, and packaging from your electronics, such as boxes, Styrofoam, and plastic packaging materials. Business, institutional, or government electronic items are not accepted at this event.
