Emergency responders were called to the scene of a truck fire Wednesday morning at approximately 9:47 a.m.
Lynn-Scott-Rock Fire Department were dispatched to N. Mulford Road, just south of Gibson Road, for a fully engulfed truck fire. The truck, which was hauling an enclosed trailer, was fully engulfed upon arrival.
The driver of the truck was able to safely get out of the vehicle.
Grass in the ditch near the truck was also scorched due to the fire.
Illinois State Police were also on scene.
