POLO – Do you as a business owner or you and some friends think you’re really good cooks?
Prove it with a team at What’s Cookin’ at  Barnacopia, 2570 N West Branch Rd, Polo, on April 13 from 5 to 8 p.m. Openings for teams making appetizers, side dishes, main dishes and desserts in the adult categories still have some openings.
We have several tables open for Junior Chefs which have their own division and can make samples of any of the food categories.

They are judged as their own category with their own trophy and will also be included in the overall judging for People’s Choice trophy.
Go to rockrivercenter.org and click on the What’s Cookin’ tab to see pictures from 2018 What’s Cookin’ and the list of this year’s teams.
Last year more than 500 people purchased tickets and then wandered through the museum at Barnacopia tasting samples of the best of Ogle and Lee county’s cuisine. It’s a great place to advertise and mingle with potential customers. $20 per person tickets are available at Rock River Center, 810 S. 10th, or at the door.
All of the proceeds from What’s Cookin’ go to fund resources, activities, and services that improve the quality of life for Ogle County’s older adults, the disadvantaged, caregivers, and the greater community.
