Facility nearing opening date

ROCHELLE – Liberty Village Retirement Campus recently announced the plan for the opening of their new state of the art skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in mid- August. 

The skilled nursing facility consists of 92 beds named Manor Court, comprised of three different neighborhoods, each providing a unique level of care. Bounce Back offers a coordinated and individualized approach to rehab recover and return home after a hospitalization, illness or sudden trauma. Liberty Lane offers long-term care while Memory Lane provides the most recent programming approved by the Alzhiemer’s Association for those who are experiencing memory deficits. 

The new facility will offer many amenities such as a beauty salon, spa with whirlpool tub, private courtyards with shaded areas and ceiling fans. 

“I love showing off this beautiful state of the art facility to people,” administrator Peggy Holt said. “Now, we are very excited to see it start to fill up with residents. We will continue to follow all of the COVID-19 guidelines, protecting our residents and keeping our staff safe is our top priority.”

Hawthorn Inn, the Assisted Living center on the Campus is available to provide virtual tours and provide a safe transition for those looking before our fall and winter seasons begin. To make an appointment contact Liberty Village at 815-561-4099. 

Liberty Village is also planning a modified open house in the near future and is encouraging the public to watch for upcoming information. 

“Since the groundbreaking ceremony and construction began in 2018, we are very excited to be close to opening our doors to Rochelle and the surrounding communities,” Regional Director of Marketing Ken Miars said. “We look forward to the opportunity to have a positive impact and make a difference in the lives of many over the coming years.”
