ROCHELLE — Rochelle’s Fastenal representative DJ Williams visited the Rochelle Fire Department Thursday with more than $900 in free equipment for the department. The equipment includes a band saw that the department uses in delicate extrication situations such as farm or factory accidents.
The department had spent just more than $1,300 in Foreign Fire Funds on equipment when the Fastenal reps heard that the department could use additional items and offered the donation.
